If you have not upgraded your Wordpress blog yet, you’ll definitely get a big big surprise at the new backend look and feel of Wordpress 2.5.
Having the thought that I should be upgrading my blog today, I downloaded the latest Wordpress package and upgraded it in just a couple of minutes. And when I refresh my backend page, I was taken aback by the totally different look and feel.
Overall experience till now is quite positive, I will need to explore further to get use to the new layout and to see what new stuffs have been incorporated.
Btw, upgrading is as easy as just 3 simple steps:
Step 1: Download the latest wordpress package
Step 2: Unzip and upload all the files into your webhost to replace your current blog files
Step 3: Run the url http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin/upgrade.php and just click on the buttons.
Thats it!
Do leave a comment on what you think about this new version. Currently, I do see a few issue with the editor and plugins..hmmm…

I have never upgrade before, you mind if I ask where you upload the folder ‘wordpress’ to which folder in the web hosting data based?
Generally, let’s say your blog is accessible from http://www.abc.com then you u/l the files into the /public_html folder.
If from http://www.abc.com/blog, then you u/l the files into /public_html/blog instead.
Basically, you just need to compare the folders and filenames to know where your blog files are. Btw, you don’t u/l the wordpress folder, but the files in it.
