“What?!” My wife shouted at me..
“Err..well, dear I threw the cheques…”
Before I could even finish my sentence, she screamed at me “What do you mean you threw the cheques away? Where did you throw it to? You think money fall from the sky? You think it’s that easy to make money?…”
Here’s the story…
It happened few days back when I received a letter containing a cheque of USD$80. Well, it’s not uncommon for affiliate marketer like myself to received cheques from overseas. What bugged me is that I don’t know how I made this money and who the sender is.
It’s looks almost like a scam, where you receive letters stating that you’ve won first prize in a luckydraw, but requires you to make a payment before you can get it. On second thought, it doesn’t say anything about me having to pay a single cent, so I guess I’m safe.
I ran through my emails and managed to find one with the subject “Affiliate Payment Update”. And it dawned on me that I’ve market this product some time back with just one email to a yahoo group and forgotten all about it. On top of that, it was bought over by another company. That figures why I don’t recognise the sender. 
The next thing that goes in my head looks something like this ==>
Although it’s a smaller amount compared to the residual income that I’m receiving every month into my global cash account, but it’s nice to have surprise cheques now and then to drop off at the bank.
Now, back to where we left off…
My wife basically fired her machine gun at me for almost 15 minutes non-stop. And when she ceased firing. Blood is already spilling out from the bullet holes in my body and gushing out from my mouth preventing me from talking, with my last breath, I managed to get the words out of my mouth.
”Da.. dar..ling…I threw the cheque into the cheque deposit box at the bank on my way back.”
Upon hearing that, her face flipped almost in an instant, smiled back at me and said.
“Oh..ok, I love you darling and let’s get ready for dinner”
